2nd Annual Cookie Crawl | Downtown Marceline Foundation

Downtown Marceline Foundation‘s Cookie Crawl will take place on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from 9am – 1pm. It will be held in conjunction with the annual Marceline Train Show, the annual Crafts in the Park show, and the annual Marceline Car Show. These events provide Downtown Marceline the opportunity to promote our merchants and encourage visitors to “crawl” Main Street USA.

Participating merchants in our downtown district who have a ‘cookie stop’ sign in front of their business will be providing one type of homemade cookie to shoppers who purchase a “Cookie Crawl Passport.” Only 75 passports will be sold, so get yours early. Your passport will include a copy of each merchant’s cookie recipe so you’ll get double the pleasure – the cookie AND the recipe that you can bake at home.

To purchase your $10 “Cookie Crawl Passport”, stop by the Downtown Marceline Foundation office (next to Magnolia Antiques) where you’ll get your passport and an empty treat bag for your cookies. Proceeds from this journey will go to towards the continued revitalization and beautification of Historic Downtown Marceline. In addition, four lucky shoppers who present their passport with all locations stamped (or initialed) at the Downtown Marceline Foundation office (where you started,) will have the chance to win one of four $25 Marceline Mad Money gift certificates. The winners will be drawn at 2pm at the Car Show booth at the edge of Ripley Square.

And finally, when passport holders check in at the end of their crawl, they can vote for their favorite cookie! The merchant with the most votes will be shared on our Downtown Marceline Foundation website and social media pages.
