The Downtown Marceline Foundation is thrilled to announce the arrival of Midwest Diamond Athletics to Marceline’s vibrant Main Street. As a premier cheerleading and tumbling organization, Midwest Diamond Athletics is dedicated to serving the youth of our area.
Founded by Brittaney Evans, a passionate cheer coach and private instructor, Midwest Diamond Athletics is poised to become a cornerstone of youth development in the area. Alongside Brittaney, the organization boasts a talented team of professionals including Natalie Meyer, team & website coordinator and cheer coach; Shelby Harmon, cheer coach; and Molly Cupp, cheer coach and private instructor. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to Marceline.
MDA, a brand-new program, officially formed as an LLC in April 2024. Despite its recent inception, the organization has already garnered significant interest. Brittaney Evans expressed her enthusiasm about opening her studio in Marceline, stating, “It’s wonderful to see so much interest in such a short time frame.” The program caters to a wide age range, with competitive cheer opportunities available for athletes aged 4 to 18 years old. Currently the program has 55 youth signed up from tryouts, with more interest each day. MDA’s mission extends beyond athletic skills; it aims to develop character, integrity, and confidence while fostering leadership, teamwork, accountability, and responsibility.
Currently, Midwest Diamond Athletics occupies the historic Ballroom at 209 N Main Street USA, situated above Magnolia Antiques. The Ballroom’s wooden floors, lofty ceilings, and open floorplan provide an ideal space for MDA’s activities. “We’re very excited and thankful for all the support,” Brittaney Evans shared.
