The 10th annual Wine & Art Stroll on Main Street USA was a great success! Wine lovers from near and far visited Marceline, Missouri once again to eat, drink, and be merry, right in the middle of the (closed) street. The weather started off a bit warm, but cooled to the perfect temperature by around 6 o’clock. Wine and spirits were flowing as 36 artists painted Marceline – more than ever before! And those pieces of art were hung on Main Street USA by the North Missouri Arts Council for viewing and to be purchased.
Cheap Date kept everyone entertained with live music, thanks to Chariton Valley SuperFast Internet‘s sponsorship. We gave away a beautiful gift basket to Mary Brown of Marceline, donated by the Life Care Centers of America, and we drew names for the semi-finalists for the Grocery Grab, which are James Stella, Kelsey Best, and Andrew Wood. Be sure to join us at Prenger Foods in Marceline on Thursday, September 1st at 7p to watch the fun!
