There’s no Blarney Stone in Marceline, but we’ve got the Shamrock $hop, and Irish eyes were smiling! We can’t thank the Main Street Merchants enough for participating and providing the prizes for this fun event. It was nice to see people asking for their 4-leaf clover sticker when we were in the shops, and we’re very happy that so many people completed their game card to be in the Luck O’ the Draw for five $100 MAD Money prizes.
30 game cards were completed by players who purchased at least $20 at participating Main Street Merchants to receive a 4-leaf clover sticker from that business. With each card representing at least $80 in sales for our local shops, that means this “Shop Local” event brought it at least $2,400 between March 1st and March 17th. Keeping our shopping dollars local is great for our businesses, and great for Marceline. Thanks to everyone who spent their money in town, and shopped local.
Thanks to the stylists at DayBreak Salon & Skin Spa for lending a hand for the Luck O’ the Draw drawing. The first pull was a leprechaun! But they threw him back and drew 5 winners randomly from the hat. The winners are: Jauna Hicks, Danny Shields, Carol Klingsmith, Catlin McKissick, and Heather Nudd.
